Terms and Conditions

Wound Care Solutions Pty Ltd is a specialist wound nurse practitioner practice. Our principal clinician is an endorsed Nurse Practitioner registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). We provide wound care services in clinic (Wonthaggi, VIC), via home visits across Gippsland, and via telehealth across Australia.

Appointments are made by contacting us directly by phone or email. We do not operate an online booking system. Appointments are confirmed once we have spoken with you or responded to your enquiry.

We ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations or failure to attend without notice may incur a cancellation fee at our discretion.

We reserve the right to decline or discontinue services where it is clinically or professionally appropriate to do so.

Our fees are provided to you prior to your appointment. Fees are subject to change and current fees will always be communicated before services are rendered.

Payment is due at the time of service for private patients. We accept credit card, debit card and bank transfer. For NDIS plan-managed patients and Home Care Package recipients, invoices are directed to the relevant fund manager subject to a current service agreement.

Medicare rebates may be available with a valid referral. The rebate amount is determined by Medicare and is not within our control. Out-of-pocket costs will be explained to you before your appointment.

Wound Care Solutions is not a registered NDIS provider. We can only provide services to NDIS participants who are self-managed or plan-managed. If you are agency-managed, please contact us to discuss your options before booking.

A current NDIS service agreement must be in place before services commence for NDIS participants. Invoices will be directed to your plan manager.

Home visits are available across the Gippsland region subject to availability. A travel fee applies in addition to the consultation fee. The travel fee will be communicated to you before your appointment is confirmed.

We reserve the right to decline a home visit where the environment is assessed as unsafe for the clinician or where access is not reasonably practicable.

Telehealth consultations are available to patients across Australia. You are responsible for ensuring you have a suitable device, camera, microphone and stable internet connection for your telehealth appointment.

Telehealth consultations are subject to the same fees and cancellation terms as in-clinic appointments. We cannot guarantee the quality of telehealth services where connectivity issues arise on your end.

Our services are provided by a qualified and experienced endorsed Nurse Practitioner. However, wound care is complex and outcomes cannot be guaranteed. We will always act in your best clinical interest and in accordance with evidence-based practice.

We may recommend referral to other healthcare providers (including your GP, vascular surgeon or other specialists) where this is clinically appropriate. We are not responsible for the services provided by third-party healthcare providers.

In an emergency, please call 000 or attend your nearest emergency department. Our services are not an emergency service.

By engaging our services, you consent to the collection and use of your personal and health information as described in our Privacy Policy. You also consent to us communicating with your GP and treating team as clinically necessary, unless you advise us otherwise.

You have the right to withdraw consent at any time, though this may affect our ability to provide you with safe and appropriate care.
