Wound Care Solution has a passion to improve clinical outcomes for people living with wounds.

To achieve improvements, one piece of the puzzle is improving the knowledge of those caring for people living with wounds. We are passionate about working with carers, Aged Care Facilities, and other service providers to improve knowledge around the topics of wounds.

How we can help

• Work collaboratively with Health Care Organisations using evidence to drive service improvement
• We can review policy/guidelines, attend audits, and then provide recommendations that are measurable.
• Provide customisable support services such as bedside coaching/ clinical mentoring, clinical procedures, staff competency, and training for “wound champions”, with follow-up to ensure the best outcomes.
• We are flexible and will help where we can, we will work with the needs of the facility.

Wound Care Solutions also provides Consultations for individuals living in Aged Care Facilities, and can:

• Attend a holistic assessment using all relevant clinical information
• Order and attend relevant investigations to aid treatment planning
• Provide a detailed wound management plan with recommendations for treatment and follow-up care.
• Product recommendations such as skin care treatments, offloading equipment for pressure injuries, nutritional supplements, and wound dressings, and identify factors that may be impeding healing.
